Serato is one of the world leaders in audio software for professional DJs, producers and musicians. World renowned artists such as Fatboy Slim, A-Trak, Snoop Dogg, and DJ Snake love our products and use them on a regular basis.

We have a vacancy for a Product Owner in our Serato’s Product team, that will initially be focused on Serato DJ.

The PO is the driving force behind a project focused on "what and why". They provide a clear vision for the product/project and turn these ideas into a product backlog of tangible user stories for the development teams to execute.

With support from the Head of Product Planning, you will;

  • Be responsible for maintaining and sustaining the content and priority of product backlogs.
  • Use customer feedback, UX research, stakeholder interviews, data/insights and any other tools you see fit to help put this backlog together with clear and concise user stories.
  • Be able to clearly define the business value of items on the backlog.
  • Comfortable reporting to senior management on the state of the product and its backlog.
  • Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the needs of the customer.
  • Be proactive in managing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Be able to present development teams with challenges whilst making sure goals are achievable.
  • Provides support, encouragement and recognition to the team both through words and actions.

What we are looking for:

  • Hands on experience with DJ/music production applications
  • Previous experience in product planning/product owner, or similar roles
  • Experience working in a scrum/agile product development setting
  • Passionate about the future of DJ and music production
  • Someone with great ideas but is able to listen, negotiate and compromise.
  • A growth mindset - you're always trying to learn new skills and explore new ideas.
